A two-day workshop on Impact-Based Forecasting (IBF) was recently concluded in Kanchanpur with the aim of reducing potential loss of life and property from natural disasters during this year's monsoon season. The workshop targeted the municipalities of Bedkot, Bhimdatta, Dodhara Chandani in Kanchanpur, and Parshuram Municipality in Dadeldhura, with the belief that it would play a key role in monsoon preparedness.
